* Liquid gas vapors are heavier than air. In case of leakage, the gas descends towards the ground and concentrates in lower places.
* Liquid gas is not toxic. However, it can cause unconsciousness, if mixed with air in large concentrations. The more its concentration increases (reducing oxygen in the air), the more the risk of asphyxiation increases.
* Liquid gas is odorless by nature. However, a heavy unpleasant odor is added to it, in order to detect leaks. NEVER try to detect a leak using a flame or other means that might cause ignition!
* Liquid gas is flammable, like all fuels deriving from oil. It must be stored away from probable ignition causes, in well-ventilated areas.
